A toy keyboard, an acoustic guitar, a couple of microphones and a SP-404. These were the tools to mine a new friendship. Half a world away and a decade apart in age, we felt it defied all logic to ever meet. But we were grateful to fate for allowing our paths to cross, and quickly music became our way to communicate, to bridge the cultural and language divide. We produced these nine tracks within the space of six months with the aid of music software, and as a result realised we couldn't play them live. So instead they stand in time as the humble beginnings of High Climbers, never to be re-explored. For now...
